Atlas Planning provides a foundation for continued cooperation between a Swedish and foreign organisation using a partnership or placement. Planning trips must be on the basis of an identified need for development and there must be an ambition to develop long-term international cooperation. Planning may take place in Sweden or a partner country, depending on the type of planning trip.

Organisations that may apply and participate

Swedish organisations from pre-school to adult education may apply to the programme.

The partner must be a pre-school, school or adult education organisation in another country. When planning a placement visit, the partner may also be a company or other organisation.

Partners & countries

When planning cooperation projects, it is possible to apply for funding for travel from Sweden to countries outside the EU/EEA

It is the responsibility of the participants to check and comply with the visa regulations and vaccinations requirements that apply in the host countries.

Types of activity

• Planning with a partner school for future cooperation within Atlas Partnerships (Atlas partnerskap). It is also possible for the partner school (outside the EU/EEA) to come to Sweden.
• Planning of placement visits abroad within Atlas Vocational Training (Atlas praktik) 

UHR provides funding in the form of a standard amount per participant. The grant is intended to cover the cost of travel and living costs.

Finances

Atlas provides a standard sum per participant. The Swedish school applies for the number of participants per project. The participants can include both teachers and students.

The programme’s general terms and conditions states which costs are valid.

Letter of intent

A letter of intent from the foreign partner must be appended to the application.
