Erasmus+ Alliances for Innovations
The Alliances for Innovation programme aims to increase Europe’s innovation capacity by providing grants for cooperation and knowledge exchange for organisations in higher education, vocational education, industry and research.
Partnerships within alliances for innovation must carry out cohesive and comprehensive sectoral or cross-sectoral activities that should be adaptable to future knowledge development throughout the EU.
What can they lead to?
Alliances for innovation are intended to have an impact both short-term and long-term on the individual, organisational and system level.
The goals for the programme are digital and sustainable skills to meet the needs of the labour market and for sustainable development. To reach these goals, it is possible to apply for either alliances for education and enterprises or alliances for sectoral cooperation on skills.
Examples of activities include development of curricula, identification of skill and education needs and development of interdisciplinary teaching and learning methods.
Organisations that can apply
Operators within education and working life, such as higher education institutions, vocational education coordinators, companies, trade and professional associations, research institutes, public authorities responsible for education or employment, and organisations that provide career guidance and professional counseling can apply.
Participating countries
All of the EU’s member states, as well as Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, North Macedonia, Serbia and Turkey, participate in Erasmus+.
