Erasmus+ Capacity Building

The aim of the programme is to support the modernization, accessibility and internationalization of higher education in partner countries

The programme supplies funding for a variety of activities, such as the development of new courses, syllabuses, education centers as well as the reforming of the national education system in a particular partner country. Capacity building projects can either be national or multinational. National projects target a single partner country, whereas multinational projects targets either one or several regions.

Capacity building projects needs to be carried out in the context of already defined priorities, which are published on the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) website:

Who can apply and participate?

Higher education institutions in programme and partner countries can apply for funding.

Apply for the programme

The programme is administered by the central programme office in Brussels, EACEA (Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency). Applicants must submit their grant application by 28 February 2023 at 17:00.
